The Fruitbag Botra Xtra is widely used in grape growing to protect the grapes against wasps, birds, hail and Suzuki fruit flies. These green bags or covers are made of a fine-meshes polyester and is air- and light permeable. Moreover, the grapes mature better in the covers because the temperature is slightly higher in these bags. This also means that the sugar content of the grape increases. The Botra Xtra fruit covers are easily applied during the grape ripening. This can be done very simply because a drawstring is attached to the fruitbag. These fruit bags are also used for apple and pear cultivation.
