Especially for snail breeding, we have included this slugscreen Coclea Plus in our range. When breeding snails, they should not be allowed to crawl away. This slugscreen keeps the snails on their own spot. The screen is provided with two flaps of each 14 cm wide. The snails crawl through this screen up but they can not pass the flaps, once they try it and then they fall down. The slugscreen is woven by using the leno technique, with the warp yarns in an 8-shape. As a result, the screen is less elastic and it remains taut between the poles.

Multiple applications

Besides the snail breeding this screen is also widely used in horticulture. To give the snails no chance for reaching the land and the crops, the Coclea Plus is placed outside of the parcel, but then the flaps are toward the outside. This 100% organic solution avoids the use of toxic slug pellets and other chemicals. An ideal and friendly solution.
